After a lot of research over this weekend, I've decided to do a different genre.
Genre: Comedy Drama/Dark Comedy/Real Life
Inspiration: American Beauty, Clockwork Orange, Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Juno, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Trainspotting (these films are where I got the idea that voiceover, music, and simple establishing shots work best in an opening sequence, this wouldn't work with a psychological horror)
Characters: 2 characters: Protagonist (Gender: Male, Age: Early 20s) and minor character (Gender: Female, Age: 20)
Main Prop: Book: A mysterious object, which may also contain the title sequences, looks expensively produced (will be the main focus with the main character of the 'film')
Setting: Coffee Shop (Possibly snowing outside so character's are dressed in thick coats and scarfs)
Time: Present Day
Lighting: Natural
Sound: Voiceover (from main character), Dialogue (from both character), A capella humming tune (3 female harmonies)
Camera: Zooming in, Close up (on character's face and book), Two shot, Medium shot
Editing: Simple editing (not many shots)
